Guided tour to Piazza dei Miracoli
Every friday, saturday and sunday, at 11.30, we plan a guided tour to Piazza dei Miracoli, in English and Italian. Other dates: December 24th and 31st.
During the visit it’s included: explanation of the artistic and architectural traits of the monuments in the square and its origins in relation to the history of the city; ticket for the Duomo, with dedicated stops to the Pulpito of Giovanni Pisano and the “catino absidale” with the San Giovanni of Cimabue; ticket for the Battistero, with an acoustic exihibition.
The meeting is in Piazza dei Miracoli at the Museo delle Sinopie’s ticket office.
• Price: € 8,00, with tickets to the Cattedrale and Battistero (the leaning Tower is not included); reduced-price: € 6,00, from 10 to 18 years old; under 10 years old it’s free.
• Duration: 1 hour.
• Languages: Italian and English; other languages available with reservation only.
Due to personal religious belief, the tickets to the Duomo and the Battistero can be exchanged for other tickets to other monuments or museums in the square (Camposanto monumentale, Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, Museo delle Sinopie).
